Revocable Living Trusts

Are Revocable Living Trusts Right For You?

Have you ever thought about how your children or other beneficiaries will handle their share of their inheritance when you pass away? Of course, we love our kids, but most of us have at least one who is just a little “fiscally challenged”. Leaving them a large sum of money or real estate could be disastrous.

There is a solution. In fact, it even allows you to exercise some control over your money after you have passed on. It is called the Revocable Living Trust (RLT). An RLT is an instrument that allows you to transfer ownership of your property into a trust during your lifetime. RLT’s are often used as a substitute for a will.

In this slide show, you will learn more about the basics of RLTs. It is not meant to be comprehensive. For more details, contact Dan. He’ll be happy to explain how they work in great detail so you can decide whether this RLTs are right for you.
